When you start a new Rec Room account, you first need to confirm your email address in order to set a password for the account. This is so the password can be reset later if needed. 

To enter and confirm your email, you need to open the watch menu and click the Profile button on the top left corner. Then find and click the "Register" button and enter your email. After entering it, you should receive an email that will allow you to set a password. If you don't receive it, please check that you've entered the address correctly, and that the email is not in a Spam or Ads folder. Once you have found the email, click the link to set a password. 

Once you have set a password, you will be able to log on to Rec Room on other devices, using either your email or your username, and the password you have set.
